Overview

Varta Automotive is a battery finder that operates primarily in Europe and the USA. They needed help identifying which efforts were leading to the results they were looking for.

I helped them set up tracking and dashboards so they understood which tasks to focus on.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Search console

I set up all of the GA4 and GSC tracking for all of Vaarta’s 26 global websites. This included tracking on a local level, and tracking on a global level.

I created custom reports, funnels, explorations, custom events, and conversion tracking.

Dashboards

To make everything clear to business, leadership, and management, I set up dashboards and reports in Google Looker Studio.

This showed month-over-month comparison, top performing pages, total users, and other relevant metrics.

Global tracking

Yes, I set up tracking for each of the individual sites across the globe, but I also created a master GA4 account that tracked the global impact and how it relates to the primary website.

We wanted to see the user journey across all platforms, if people were going to the right website, if we needed to cut down on sites, and how well the primary site helped people find their local area site.
