Super Cute Dress is an online store run by Luke and Kariann Ringger. They make all of their designs and have partnerships with local and foreign manufacturers. They needed a clearly defined brand, a website that is designed to convert, and a marketing strategy to drive relevant traffic.
The former website was built on Wix and was not designed in a manner that promoted conversions. I created a design that promoted the two main categories on the site, dresses and rompers.
From there, if you continue scrolling, you will get right into recent products. The goal of this design is to help people find exactly what they’re looking for very quickly.
Because they are called “Super Cute Dresses” and are selling to moms, it made sense to use a simple text logo and had an almost script feel to it. I went with light colors of teal and white with teal accents to bring attention to the most important aspects of the brand.
There was a lot of use of white space allowing the products to speak for themselves. The competition used a lot of cluttered designs, so using a more modern design of white space would help the brand look more trusted.

On top of the branding and web design, I put together a marketing strategy for Super Cute Dresses to use. While they were already promoting on Facebook, they could have been doing additional things to help build a following. They ended up creating Facebook groups that Super Cute Dresses regularly engages in. Kariann frequently has people vote on patterns and designs. This helps give the feel of custom dresses without the price tag tied to typical custom dresses.
Additionally, I recommend they start a PPC campaign. Super Cute Dresses began to run search ads that ranked for their branded terms, competitor terms, and related keywords like “nursing dresses for moms”.
Because Super Cute Dresses has such a loyal following, it was extremely powerful for them to engage with people on email and text message. The core things Super Cute Dresses could do is get people to engage with poles on dress patterns, share countdowns for the next drop, promote sales and coupon codes, and notify people the day of the drop.
