InHouse Advertising is an ad agency in Tulsa OK. They relied primarily on their sales team to get more clients, but needed an inbound marketing strategy to leverage their expertise.
InHouse was known for their traditional marketing, but they were very young with their digital marketing. To help propel them forward, I created a cross-channel marketing strategy that would help position them as an authority and get more clients.
The first thing to do is redesign the site. InHouse was operating on a very outdated site design. To make them an authority figure, they needed to create a design that would compete with other authorities. We would also need to make it easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for, utilize conversion design theories, and make use of headers and copy that encourages action.
From there, it’s a simple matter of setting up tracking and building out funnels and reports to see how people engage on the site.
To really push InHouse as an authority figure, they needed to create content.
The easiest content to create is blogs. You catch people in their searches, answer their questions directly, and are helpful when they need it. I helped InHouse identify key content pillars they should discuss, how to create content that ranks, how to promote it, and how to convert traffic into a lead when they visit a content page.
Another strong method for converting content is through YouTube videos. Most people prefer to consume content through video formats, so using YouTube is a very strong content delivery method. The main goal is to create video essays from the blogs published.
The branding for InHouse hadn’t been updated in 20 years. It was in need of a facelift.
The goal was to make the brand more modern and streamline so it resonates with a more digital audience without straying from the roots of Inhouse. I simplified the logo design and separated the text from the icon. I also made the brand colors very clear.
InHouse wants to make its customers feel like they have their own marketing team in-house. They also put a heavy focus on space because they want to give the feeling that we are going to send your marketing returns into orbit.
I relied heavily on open design, the use of rocket icons, Tulsa skyline, and bold colors.
I also made some business cards to boot.
